WhiteClouds fabricated this giant UMass Amherst M for a graduation display. The five-foot foam letter combines the university's red, white, and black treatment with a low branded base, creating a single freestanding element that can frame people within the same photograph.
One university initial at human scale
The project centers on the M rather than spelling the full university name in separate letters. Its broad outside profile and open center preserve the initial while leaving room for graduates to stand beside it.
The front face carries the red field, white inset, and dark outline associated with the supplied university graphic. The foam construction keeps the dimensional letter distinct from the base below it.
