WhiteClouds produced the SpongeBob SquarePants model with about 80 design hours, 24 printed parts, approximately 1,400 print hours, and 19 rolls of PLA. The final model includes reinforced legs and a steel base concealed within the character and its sand-textured setting.
SpongeBob built as a physical character model
The finished model carries SpongeBob's distinctive square proportions into a full character scene. A painted underwater backdrop and sculpted pineapple house place the model in a Bikini Bottom scene.
Finished as a complete character scene
The assembled character combines smooth printed forms, recessed sponge texture, eye components, airbrushed color transitions, and a painted Bikini Bottom setting.
The separate printed parts come together as one complete character. Large eyes, narrow limbs, shoes, and a textured sponge surface carry SpongeBob's familiar proportions into the finished model. Detailed eye components and airbrushed transitions carry through the full character, reinforced base, and themed setting.
