ElonRWA commissioned WhiteClouds to turn an intentionally poor drawing of Elon Musk into a large physical statue. The finished figure is approximately 9 feet tall and has a faux-bronze finish. It was created for ElonRWA's promotional campaign, not for Elon Musk or any Musk company. Elon Musk did not commission, approve, sponsor, endorse, or participate in the project.

Project overview

Turning an internet meme into a physical statue

The original meme was distinctive because it was awkward, not because it resembled a realistic portrait. Its exaggerated likeness came from a poorly drawn Elon Musk meme that gained attention after Musk jokingly compared the image to looking in a mirror.

ElonRWA associated the meme with an NFT and chose to extend that digital story into a physical campaign object. The fabrication brief therefore called for the statue to preserve the drawing's odd proportions and humor rather than correct them into a conventional likeness.

Final application

Taking the statue on the road in Texas

ElonRWA used the statue as part of its promotional campaign and towed it behind a Cybertruck in Texas. The vehicle was part of the campaign presentation; its use does not establish participation or endorsement by Elon Musk, Tesla, SpaceX, X, or another Musk company.

ElonRWA described the related digital concept as a "real-world asset meme-coin" and supplied a blockchain wallet mechanism through which it said a fractional interest in the digital asset could be purchased. WhiteClouds' role was physical fabrication, not offering, recommending, or selling the NFT, token, meme-coin, or fractional interest.
