Cisco needed a physical way to present a broad connected-city concept in a trade show setting. WhiteClouds created a portable diorama that brings urban, suburban, utility, transportation, energy, and industrial scenes together in one display. The diorama measures approximately 24 by 48 inches and was planned for repeated exhibit use over more than twelve months.
One model for a connected-city narrative
The diorama organizes several types of infrastructure into one connected landscape. Roads and buildings establish the city, while utilities, wind turbines, transportation, and an industrial area expand the scene beyond a conventional architectural model.
Cisco branding appears as part of the physical presentation, including dimensional metal letters. The display works as both an explanatory model and a branded exhibit.
Prepared for repeated trade show use
The display was developed for use across multiple trade shows over a period of more than twelve months. That repeated-use requirement made the model's presentation, handling, and transport part of the project context from the start.
A custom shipping crate accompanied the diorama. Together, the model and crate gave Cisco a reusable physical exhibit that could carry the same visual story from one event setting to another.
