Utah State University commissioned WhiteClouds to turn the familiar shape of a View-Master into a large event prop. The result is a freestanding display with a curved white viewer body, a circular image reel, Utah State graphics, and dimensional surfaces on the front and rear.
Campus graphics integrated with the viewer silhouette
From the front, two dark viewing openings sit beneath the large reel. The circular panel carries a sequence of campus and event images, while the lower face identifies Utah State.
Those elements make the reference object readable without relying on a generic red toy finish. The university artwork establishes this as a specific Utah State display rather than an off-the-shelf enlargement.
A dimensional rear profile
The reel rises above the white body, while the viewer form and dimensional shapes continue around the rear rather than ending at a flat facade.
Planning an oversized object for a school event
Useful inputs include the reference object, approved institutional artwork, desired guest position, front and rear viewing requirements, target dimensions, floor footprint, and any accessibility or supervised-use needs.
Venue access, setup conditions, destination, and event date determine how the display needs to travel and arrive. Any working feature should be specified separately rather than assumed from the exterior form.
