Project Shapeshifter, by Autodesk Research IL group, is a free technology preview. It was created to help designers and makers more easily create complex shapes and 3D-printable geometries.
Once an object is created, it can be exported as an OBJ to be 3D printed locally or sent to a 3D printing service.
