The three large SMS letters on the St. Mary Catholic School campus are freestanding metal forms rather than flat wall signage. WhiteClouds fabricated the set for outdoor placement, using the school's initials as a compact physical identifier that can be read from the lawn, drive, and adjacent walkways.
Three initials arranged as a freestanding wordmark
The S-M-S sequence turns the school initials into a short, readable installation. Deep sides give the letters a visible profile from angled approaches, while the repeated curves in the two S forms frame the straight vertical structure of the M.
Installed within a landscaped lawn, the blue letter set remains distinct against the school buildings without replacing the architecture or existing signs.
A letter set viewed from more than one approach
The dimensional faces and sides remain visible at close range, while the full SMS arrangement reads clearly from across the drive against the building behind it.
WhiteClouds fabricated the metal letter forms for outdoor use on the St. Mary Catholic School campus.
Planning a permanent campus letter display
A campus installation should begin with approved vector artwork, target height and depth, finish colors, all required viewing sides, site survey information, ground conditions, engineering criteria, installation access, destination, and schedule. The complete set should be planned against the actual building and landscape context.
