This 42 square foot raised relief map was installed at the Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District.  To emulate watersheds, it was fabricated with the durability to be able to pour water onto the model and have it drain through special drain holes built into the model.  This was built with 3D printers, vinyl overlays and embedded in special epoxies.

At WhiteClouds, we are proud to offer a wide range of cutting-edge services, including our incredible raised relief maps. Our raised relief maps are created using the latest technology and expertise, allowing us to produce stunningly accurate and detailed representations of the terrain.  You can check out the video below that demonstrates how we build our raised relief maps.

First and foremost, our raised relief maps are a powerful tool for visualizing and understanding the landscape. By using physical features to represent the terrain, our maps provide a realistic and immersive experience that is difficult to replicate with other types of maps. They allow users to gain a deeper understanding of the landscape, from the shape of the mountains to the flow of the rivers.

Our raised relief maps also have a wide range of applications. They are commonly used in outdoor recreation and education, as they provide an interactive and engaging way to learn about the geography and geology of an area. They are also used in scientific research, helping scientists to better understand the topography and features of a landscape.

In addition to their educational and scientific applications, our raised relief maps are also useful in the fields of architecture, engineering, and urban planning. They can be used to create accurate 3D models of the terrain, which can be used in the design and planning of buildings, infrastructure, and other structures. This can help to ensure that buildings and other structures are built to withstand the unique challenges of the terrain.
