WhiteClouds created a magma-themed couch and stepping-stone installation for the Spacestation booth at VeeCon 2022. The pieces were shaped from two-pound EPS foam and coated with WhiteClouds' Polyurea ULX66 hard coat. The finished environment combined a dark rock-like couch, glowing orange fissures, a lava-patterned floor, and separate stepping-stone forms.
A booth environment built around a magma visual theme
The project was more than a single oversized seat. The couch, orange floor, and dark stepping stones form one coordinated lava-themed environment. Deep folds and ridges across the couch create a rock-like surface, while narrow orange lines suggest heat glowing through cracks.
The completed installation appeared in the Spacestation booth at VeeCon 2022.
A coordinated Spacestation installation at VeeCon
The completed project gave the booth a consistent volcanic setting across the couch, floor, and stepping stones. The installation combined a lava-shaped couch, an orange floor, and dark stepping stones for VeeCon 2022.
WhiteClouds fabricated the coordinated prop environment for the Spacestation booth.
